Welcome to The Old Fire Station Canterbury 

The Old fire station (TOFS) boasts three properties, Arthouse, Cedar House and Firemans Cottage where contemporary meets tradional. One of the unique features is that you can rent the houses indivdually or rent all of the houses together for a larger family or social gathering sleeping up to 10, 12 people or 16 people.  
 
Canterbury is the jewel in Kent’s crown. Canterbury's skyline is dominated by the stunning Cathedral, the oldest in England. But the cathedral is only part of the story; the ancient ruins of St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church form Canterbury's UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city is full of history, heritage and culture.

The Old Fire Station is situated in a prime location close to the city centre. In easy reach of the shops, restaurants, tourist sites, Universities and Canterbury West train station. The properties offer beautiful & charming accommodation neighbouring to a perfect blend of city, coast and countryside that only Canterbury & surrounding area can offer. 
 

Contemporary Meets Traditional 

The Old Fire Station boasts three properties where contempary meets traditional.The Arthouse and Cedar house sleeps up to 6 people per property with Fireman's Cottage up to 4, or all can be rented jointly for big groups or for special occasions sleeping up to 12 people or 16 people. 
 
 

Beach Life 

The trendy fishing village of Whitstable is only 15 minutes drive away, famed for its oysters and sea food or the beautiful Victorian seaside town of Broadstairs and stunning Botany Bay (England's best kept secret) only 30 minutes drive. Closer to Canterbury are ancient woodlands, 2 fantastic wildlife parks and plenty of idyllic country villages and pubs serving local fayre. 
 
Arthouse is a Victorian building, towering up above its adjacent properties. During Victorian times this building was used as a fire station where horse drawn fire engines would house themselves in the barn through the archway. The Arthouse has been designed in a modern, fun and artistic way. 
 
Nestled away off the main road is Cedar House, a modern Scandinavian designed cedar clad building.This property is unique in Canterbury as there is nothing else like it. A courtyard garden wraps around the house to give it a very private feel with garden chairs and bbq area.
